James + Jenna::Married!!

Ever since I started doing wedding photography, I try to avoid weather forecasts. My attitude is that, come what may, the day belongs to the bride and groom, and absolutely nothing should 'dampen' the grandness of their day - not even rain.

Saturday, July 11th started out overcast and a bit...wet. As I sat with Jenna and the ladies of her bridal party at the St.Thomas hair salon Jenna hairdresses in, it may have been cloudy and wet outdoors, but indoors, the girls were full of laughter and excitement!

And, wouldn't you know that by the time we left, the sky had cleared, preparing us for a gorgeous Port Stanley, Ontario ceremony and photos at the gorgeous Waterworks Park in St.Thomas.

James serves in the Canadian Air Forces and their reception took place on the military base in London, Ontario. Many of his friends from the Petawawa base, where Jamie serves, attended.

It was touching to know that the two readings at their wedding ceremony, were read from the Bible James plans to take with him when he serves overseas in December 2009.

James and Jenna - it was an honour to be a part of your big day! All the best to you both always!
