Adventures in Cowland.

Somewhere deep in the heart of Ontario country, outside of a little town called Woodstock exists a cow ranch. On this cow ranch is a beautiful old home that has belonged to a family for generations, gorgeous pastures, a pond, a forest and an adorable couple named Jenn & Scott. A couple of weeks ago, a wacky photographer was out shooting their engagement session at said ranch...and had many adventures in cowland.

Of course, I am the wacky photographer. And I had the pleasure of spending some time at Scott's ranch, capturing the spirit of Jenn & Scott's love and devotion for one another..It was an absolutely beautiful October afternoon with a sweet couple. The weather was fine, the leaves golden, russet and brown ~ a perfect backdrop for photos and a great atmosphere for me to get better acquainted with Jenn & Scott...and cows...and a bull...and their dog Millie.

We shared lots of laughs and captured some great moments....and I look forward to shooting their March wedding!

As for my adventures, they included getting zapped by electric cow fence several times (I think Jenn & Scott know of only one occasion, but unbeknownst to them their were a couple times more), having an angus nibble and drip dribble on my camera bag and I left my pocket wizard with flash conveniently behind for Millie to use as a chew toy! All's well that ends well though, and not only did I have tons of fun, but I think we got some great shots!

Looking forward to your upcoming nuptials Jenn & Scott!! You're home is beautiful (I am an old-fashioned country girl at heart). :)
