::boys in aprons::

During the summer, my boys are very active: soccer, swimming for hours in a pool, basketball, trampolining(?),fishing, soccer (did I mention that already?).. Now it's winter, it's cold, there is no snow to occupy them (not here yet anyways..) I introduced them to cooking/baking and they love it. Cooking/baking classes at the local Loblaws and lots of practice at home..my boys are turning into quite the little chefs! Recent creations include...(drumroll please)...

Quentin's crispy & tasty caesar salad..This was extra special for me because it was completely chopped, and tossed together by Quentin himself and served up for me for lunch..

Traditional European cookies..let's see, we have: Czechoslovakian Poppy Seed Kolachkes,French Chocolate Dipped Palmiers,Viennese Kiss Cookies & Greek Holiday Cookies, baked by Quentin & Harley and thanks to Loblaws Cooking Classes..

and the most recent creation, sugar cookies with dinosaur sprinkles..baked by Harley, iced by Quentin and sprinkled by Blythie..

By the end of the season, I am hoping for a full course meal... ;)

To capturing my boys' 'culinary spirit'..

Rosita..
