gone fishing.
Giggling boys and gurgling brooks. Turtles, sunfish and worms on hooks..
My boys like fishing. Actually, to say that would be an understatement. They love it.
I used to be the one to bait the hooks with the live worms (icky I know), and the boys would shriek and laugh everytime they caught a sunfish, or a bass, or a carp. These days, they are independent, they know what to do. So I pull out my camera and watch them with curiousity. I marvel at their boyishness, and I am grateful that they are just as in love with nature as their mama.
Harley attempts to make his own fishing rod and line...
I admire the beauty of our surroundings..
One of my favourite photos. A tree sprout grows in an old rotted log. Speaks to me of rebirth, new beginnings..
Queen Anne's Lace. Stunning.
Capturing nature's artwork..
