Sisterhood.

wppi1web11

I grew up with 2 brothers. I am now a mom with 3 boys. Cars, video games, sports.

Going to Vegas with my girls gave me a glimpse into the life of having sisters...sharing make-up (thanks Nataschia!!), clothes, girl chats and laughter- a WHOLE lot of laughter! Being a photographer rocks; having a sisterhood of photographers rocks even more!

Before one knew it, I was grabbing random jewellery to wear and had 3 times the make-up to experiment with. I discovered that with a sister, you never really have to explain the way you feel...they just 'get' it. And we all looked out for each other, well, at least I felt looked after, even when I had to go racing through the airport because I thought I had forgotten my passport at security, when my luggage coming home was a whopping 30lbs overweight and each of my sisters filled their carry-ons with my jeans, boots, hair-straightener to lighten the load. When I was told to take deep breaths each time I thought (yet again) I had misplaced something (no, I am not a 'seasoned' traveler!!). My hand was held when turbulence hit and the plane took a dip, and the cold and wind was braved when I really wanted to see the Bellagio fountains at night. My photog sisters are great.

I think the cleaning lady quit that day...she put down her glass cleaner. And left.
